Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Finsamudra Private Limited (“Finsamudra”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use this marketing website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act). It covers this website only. Data handled inside our products, Sezo CRM and Sezo Mail, is governed by the agreement we sign with each customer.

Who we are

Finsamudra Private Limited builds software for Indian financial services businesses. Our current products are Sezo CRM, a lending CRM, and Sezo Mail, business email on your own domain. For anything in this policy you can reach us at hello@finsamudra.com. Our registered office is [Registered office address, to be confirmed].

What we collect

If you join our early-access waitlist or request a demo, we collect the details you enter in the form:

  • Your email address.
  • Your phone number.

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics also record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. If website analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may set cookies to measure this traffic in aggregate. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We use your waitlist details for one purpose: to contact you about early access to Finsamudra products, to set up your workspace, and to answer questions you raise. Our legal basis under the DPDP Act is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. Technical and analytics data is used to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful.

Where your data is stored

We want to be precise here, because data residency is something we care about and we do not want to overstate it.

  • Our products. Customer data inside Sezo CRM and Sezo Mail (databases, files, and backups) runs on India-based infrastructure: Mumbai-region compute, self-hosted PostgreSQL with point-in-time recovery, and encrypted backups. Customer product data does not leave India.
  • This marketing website. The site itself is served through a global content delivery network (Vercel), so the web pages are cached on servers around the world. When you submit the waitlist form, the submission is processed through a transactional email provider (Brevo) so our team receives it and can respond. These providers may process that data outside India. We keep the data collected here limited to your email and phone for exactly this reason.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (data processors) that help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Vercel, for website hosting and content delivery.
  • Brevo, for transactional email and waitlist processing.
  • Cloudflare, for DNS and encrypted backup storage.
  • Razorpay, for payments, which applies to paying customers only.
  • Google Analytics, for aggregate website analytics, if enabled.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to delete them or until the early-access program ends, whichever comes first. After that we delete or anonymise the data, unless we are required to retain it for a legal reason.

How we protect it

We apply practical security measures across our systems: encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, least-privilege access for our team, tenant isolation in our products, and daily backups that we verify. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the risk low.

Your rights

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Have your data erased.
  • Raise a grievance about how we handle your data.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

To exercise any of these rights, or to withdraw the consent you gave, email our Grievance Officer at grievance@finsamudra.com. More detail on grievances is on our Grievance Redressal page.

Children

This website and our waitlist are meant for business users. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products and practices evolve. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. If a change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know.
