Data Residency
Last updated: 22 July 2026
Finsamudra Private Limited builds software for Indian financial services. Keeping customer data in India is a design choice, not an afterthought. This page explains, plainly, where data lives so you can make an informed decision.
Product data stays in India
For our products, Sezo CRM and Sezo Mail, customer data is resident in India. This includes:
- Your application databases, running on self-hosted PostgreSQL with point-in-time recovery.
- Files and documents you upload.
- Encrypted backups.
These run on India-based infrastructure in the Mumbai region. Customer product data does not leave India in the ordinary course of running the service.
How we protect it
Residency is only useful alongside real security. Across our systems we apply:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest.
- Least-privilege access for our team.
- Tenant isolation, so one customer's data is separated from another's.
- Daily backups that we verify.
An honest note about this website
We want to be precise and not conflate our products with our marketing site. This website (finsamudra.com) is a marketing site, and it is served through a global content delivery network (Vercel) so pages load quickly worldwide. When you submit the waitlist form, that submission is processed through a transactional email provider (Brevo) so our team can reach you. Those providers may operate outside India. We deliberately keep what the website collects small: just your email and phone. The India-residency commitment above is about your product data in Sezo CRM and Sezo Mail.
Sub-processors
The third-party providers we rely on are Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (DNS and encrypted backup storage), Brevo (transactional email), Razorpay (payments, for paying customers), and Google Analytics (aggregate website analytics, if enabled). See our Privacy Policy for how each is used.
