Finsa Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms cover the Finsa app on Google Play and the App Store, operated by Finsamudra Private Limited. Finsa shows you your credit report and explains it, and lets you save in 24K digital gold provided by SafeGold. Finsa is not a lender, a bank or an investment adviser, and the app does not offer loans. By using the app you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use Finsa
- You must be 18 or older and resident in India.
- Use the app only for your own credit report and your own savings.
- Give accurate details. If they do not match the bureau's records, your report cannot be found.
- Keep access to your email and phone to yourself: they are how you sign in.
2. Your credit report
With your consent, and only after you verify the request with a one-time password sent to your mobile number, we fetch your credit report from Equifax through our technology partner Deepvue. It is a soft enquiry and does not affect your credit score.
Your score, loans and cards come from Equifax and are only as accurate as what lenders have reported. If something is wrong, it has to be corrected with the bureau. We will tell you how, but we cannot change it. After your first report, you can refresh it once a month, from the 10th.
3. Saving in digital gold
Digital gold in Finsa is provided by SafeGold (Digital Gold India Private Limited). When you buy, SafeGold sells you 24K gold and holds it for you in an insured vault, recorded in a SafeGold account in your name. Finsa is the app you use to buy, save and sell. It does not hold your gold or your money.
- Prices. Buy and sell rates come from SafeGold and move with the market. When you confirm a purchase the rate is held for 7 minutes. The buy price includes 3% GST. There is a difference between the buy and sell rate, so selling soon after buying returns less than you paid. Finsa adds no fee of its own.
- Risk. The value of gold can go down as well as up. Digital gold is not a bank deposit, is not insured by DICGC, and is not regulated by the Reserve Bank of India or SEBI.
- Minimum and limits. The smallest purchase is ₹50. SafeGold may ask for identity details, such as your PAN, under its own rules.
- Selling. You can sell your gold and have the money paid to your own bank account or UPI ID. Gold bought in the last few days can be sold after a short holding period set by SafeGold.
- SafeGold's own terms also apply to your gold account.
4. Daily saving with UPI AutoPay
If you choose daily saving, you set up a UPI AutoPay mandate with your bank through Razorpay. The amount you chose is then debited each day and used to buy gold at that day's rate. You can pause or stop it at any time from the Savings tab in the app, or by cancelling the mandate in your UPI app. A day's debit can fail if your bank declines it, for example for low balance.
5. Estimates in the app
Some screens estimate what saving in gold could do, for example how much sooner a loan you already have could be paid off. These are estimates, not promises. They assume gold rises about 10% a year, which it may not, and they use the figures in your credit report, which can be out of date. EMI and outstanding amounts come from the bureau; the actual figures are with your lender.
6. Finsa AI
Finsa AI uses artificial intelligence to explain your credit report and your savings in plain language. It can be wrong. It is information only, not financial, tax or investment advice. Finsa AI will never ask you for your PAN, Aadhaar, OTP, card number, CVV or passwords. If anything claiming to be Finsa asks for these, it is not us.
7. Notifications
If you allow notifications, we send you updates about your savings, payments and the gold price. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Finsa available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. The credit bureau, SafeGold, Razorpay and the AI are run by third parties and may be unavailable at times.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, Finsa is not liable for financial decisions you make based on information in the app, for the accuracy of data supplied by the credit bureau, or for changes in the price of gold.
10. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Profile, then Delete account. If you hold gold, you will be asked to sell it first. Stop any daily saving before you delete your account. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or to access someone else's credit information.
11. Your data
How we collect, use and share your data is in the privacy policy for your phone: Android or iPhone.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
