Adani Green Energy reported Q3 FY26 revenue of ₹2,201 crore, up 30% year-on-year, driven by expanded generation capacity and higher sales volumes. EBITDA surged 47.5% to ₹1,824 crore, reflecting strong operational leverage and margins of 82.9%.

Capacity additions of 48% brought the company's operational portfolio to 17.2 GW. Energy sales across the nine-month period grew 37%, indicating robust demand for renewable power in India's evolving energy mix.

The company remains on track to reach 50 GW by 2030, a target that underscores its position as India's leading renewable energy producer. This expansion is supported by long-term power purchase agreements with off-takers including government entities and large corporates.

Strong margins and rising capacity utilisation suggest Adani Green is translating increased generation into profits. The trajectory reflects structural tailwinds in India's shift toward renewable capacity and grid modernisation.

Why it matters

For DSAs, lenders, and fintech platforms, Adani Green's growth signals robust demand for large-ticket renewable project financing. Energy sector loans remain a core lending category, and corporates pursuing net-zero commitments are drivers of credit offtake. Fintech platforms distributing structured energy-backed credit can reference this growth to assess counterparty health and sector momentum.

Renewable energy remains a policy-favoured sector with predictable cash flows—making it attractive collateral for institutional lenders and DSAs structuring capex financing. Adani Green's margin expansion and capacity growth validate the credit underwriting thesis for renewable-backed lending, even as capital intensity remains high.
