### Three Decades of BFSI Leadership

Kumar brings an extensive operating track record covering both North and South Indian retail banking corridors:

* **Axis Bank:** Served as Vice President for more than 17 years, leading retail branch banking operations and wealth distribution across major northern markets.

* **AU Small Finance Bank:** Served as Regional Head – Branch Banking, playing a critical role in expanding the bank's retail branch network.

* **Bank of Punjab:** Spent over 5 years in Delhi managing core retail banking operations during the early phase of private banking deregulation.

* **Financial Advisory Services:** Spent 5+ years steering strategic wealth advisory for clients across key southern business hubs, predominantly Chennai and Coimbatore.

“With over three decades of rich experience in the BFSI sector across various regions of India, Sanjay brings deep domain expertise and strategic leadership to our team. We are confident that under his vision and leadership, the company will reach new heights and achieve manifold growth in the coming years,” Elevate Fincare said in an official statement.

### Corporate Background: Elevate Fincare

Incorporated in August 2026 and registered in Dwarka, New Delhi, Elevate Fincare operates under the core brand ethos of *"Elevating & Caring Wealth"*. The company focuses on retail financial advisory, mutual fund distribution, portfolio management facilitation, and allied auxiliary financial services.

Why it matters

### The Broader Talent Shift in Indian Wealth Management

Kumar’s transition from Tier-1 universal banks to an emerging wealth advisory franchise reflects an accelerating trend in Indian financial services: senior retail banking executives leveraging decades of distribution relationships to build specialized, client-first wealth management firms. With domestic household savings increasingly migrating from fixed deposits into capital market instruments, leadership teams equipped with both northern retail density and southern advisory experience are uniquely positioned to capture emerging wealth pools across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
