### The Transformation into a "FINAI" Powerhouse

The equity acquisition directly aligns with Bajaj Finance’s multi-year roadmap of deploying full-stack artificial intelligence and real-time automation across its consumer lending ecosystem.

“As a FINAI company, we are deploying AI at scale across the company. Our investment in TrueFan AI follows sustained, production-scale use of its technology, giving us first-hand experience of the platform’s capabilities and its execution,” said Rajeev Jain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Finance.

Through this strategic stake, Bajaj Finance plans to deepen its deployment of TrueFan AI's proprietary models to power automated video KYC, vernacular multi-lingual loan advisory, customer support, and customized dealer training workflows.

### TrueFan AI: From Celebrity Video Messages to Enterprise Generative AI

Founded in 2020 by Nimish Goel, Devender Bindal, and Nevaid Aggarwal, TrueFan AI originally launched as a direct-to-consumer celebrity engagement platform, enabling fans to receive personalized video greetings from Bollywood stars.

In 2024, the startup executed a strategic pivot into enterprise generative AI. Today, the platform enables enterprises to create studio-grade, personalized videos and dynamic AI avatars from a single source video or voice recording.

Its proprietary deep-learning architecture synthesizes micro-facial dynamics, lip synchronization, and voice modulation, allowing the system to output up to 500,000 localized videos per minute across more than 175 languages.

The company is currently developing real-time interactive AI video agents designed to handle live customer onboarding, conversational support, and product discovery.

### Rapid Financial Scaling & Global Expansion

The strategic backing from Bajaj Finance comes on the heels of explosive growth for the 110-member deeptech startup:

* **Revenue Acceleration:** TrueFan AI reported revenue of Rs 17.1 crore (~$2 million) in FY25, clocking a 131% year-on-year growth.

* **Series A Runway:** The startup raised a $10 million Series A funding round in June 2026 to expand its enterprise go-to-market footprint across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

* **Enterprise Client Footprint:** The platform currently serves more than 100 enterprise clients across banking, retail, and healthcare, including HDFC Bank, Zomato, Cipla, and BharatPe.

Why it matters

### Industry Implications

Bajaj Finance’s investment in TrueFan AI marks a broader inflection point in Indian retail credit: the transition from text-heavy SMS, WhatsApp, and app notifications to real-time, interactive video communication. As consumer lenders target the next 200 million borrowers across semi-urban and rural India, hyper-personalized vernacular video is rapidly emerging as the primary channel for customer acquisition and credit servicing.
