InCred's 17% profit growth masks a faster-scaling balance sheet — and an IPO in motion

Total income up 36.3% to ₹2,567 crore and AUM up 28%, as parent InCred Holdings files an updated DRHP with SEBI.

InCred Financial Services posted 17% profit growth, but the underlying figures point to a lender scaling faster than the headline suggests. Total income rose 36.3% to ₹2,567 crore, managed assets grew 22% to ₹17,748 crore, and AUM was up 28% at ₹15,881 crore.

The company is also moving toward the public markets. Parent InCred Holdings has filed an updated Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI, proposing a fresh issue of up to ₹1,250 crore alongside an offer for sale.

Why it matters

The retail-focused portfolio is expanding quickly, which reframes the question for the sector from whether InCred can grow to whether it can convert rapid AUM growth into sustainable profitability as it enters the public markets. Growth, profitability and asset quality will all be under the microscope through the IPO.
